Drone Rescues Trapped Fisherman from Swollen River in Minutes

A flying “fisherman”? A young man was trapped in the middle of a river, and a drone “fished” him ashore in two minutes.

A young man had been fishing all night when the river suddenly swelled in the morning, trapping him in the middle of the river.

Faced with the swift current, a drone staged a “cyber” rescue, successfully “fishing” the young man back to shore!

A man was trapped in the middle of a river and urgently needed rescue. Upon receiving the alarm, local rescue personnel were dispatched and a joint emergency rescue plan was activated.

Through a joint support agreement, a high-powered drone was deployed to the scene to carry out the rescue. This powerful drone has a lifting capacity of up to 85 kg and its power system uses a coaxial dual-rotor design.

After arriving at the scene, rescuers found the man trapped on a wooden frame in the middle of the river, in a critical situation.

They first used the drone to drop a life jacket and life ring to the trapped man, instructing him on how to properly wear them and secure the safety rope connected to the drone.

Then, the rescuers used the drone to pull him to safety. The man was successfully rescued in just about two minutes.

It is understood that the man went night fishing in the middle of the river. He did not notice the sudden rise of the water and became trapped in the middle of the river.
